July 28 – Positive emotions give you a positive return while negative emotions give you a negative return. Think about your emotional energy as if it was a dollar invested. For every dollar you invest in a positive, uplifting emotion, you can get tens – even hundreds – of dollars in return. For every dollar you invest in a negative emotion, you lose money – tens or even thousands of dollars.
